Jack Kaune is a singer-songwriter from LaBelle, Florida — a small town near Fort Myers along the Caloosahatchee River. His music blends alt-rock introspection with the laid-back soul of the South, rooted in acoustic grit and honest storytelling.
His debut EP, Thinkin’ Too Much, is a long-awaited introduction — six songs written over seven years, each capturing emotional snapshots from key moments in his life.
“These songs are all old to me,” he says. “I’ve written a lot more, but these are the six I had to record first. Even if I don’t still feel everything I wrote, I did feel it once. That matters.”
With lyrics that hit home and a Florida-inspired sound — somewhere between a beach drive and a party in the woods — Jack delivers music that feels both breezy and heavy-hearted. His influences include Colony House, Kings of Leon, and John Mayer, and more.
“I wasn’t meant to be in the crowd — I need to be on that stage.”
Jack isn’t chasing fame — he’s chasing connection. His goal is simple: to make music that helps people feel more in tune with themselves.
